UC News!
UC campuses are starting to draw from their waitlists. If you are admitted from a waitlist and have submitted a SIR, please remember to cancel your original SIR, freeing up your spot to another lucky student.
Transfer Students – SIR forms are due on June 1st, 2016.
Remember grades of D or F earned in your final semester of senior year or at another college could potentially result in having an offer of admission rescinded. Keep those grades up!
In Summary – The final status of waitlists may not be determined until well into the summer. Be patient! There is no way of knowing how many will be admitted from a waitlist at any campus as it varies from year to year.

ATTENTION 10th AND 11th GRADE STUDENTS AND PARENTS
Now is the perfect time to start your college journey. The summer is the ideal time to tour and research colleges, form your college list, complete your brag sheets, write your college resume, and begin writing your college essays. The Common Application at www.commonapp.org goes live on August 1, 2016 and many of the supplemental essays will be uploaded at that time. We are working with current sophomores and juniors now to guide and support them through this very important process. Helping Hand College Guidance of Los Angeles offers comprehensive college counseling packages (includes up to 37 hours of college application and college essay assistance), 5 and 10-hour packages, and single hour options. We can even tailor make packages to fit the needs of individual students. We travel to your home or mutually agreed upon location and provide one-on-one college counseling services for freshman, transfer, and international students. Pam Ohriner, private college consultant, is available to take on a limited number of new students and offers personalized services. Please contact us today for more information or to get started. Distance counseling is available by Skype to those students out of our local area.
